Rapper Shyne released from prison
Rapper Shyne is a free man as of today, after serving more than eight years behind bars.
Shyne, whose real name is Jamal Barrow was charged in March 2001, with attempted murder, assault and reckless endangerment for his role in a night club shooting involving Sean ‘P.Diddy’ Combs and Jennifer Lopez.
The 1999 incident saw Diddy testifying against his protégé souring relations between the two, but in a recent interview with New York radio station Hot 97, the 39-year-old mogul claims the pair are back on speaking terms, he said: “I spoke to him like a couple of weeks ago and he sounded like he was in good spirits. I know he can’t wait to get home. I know he is definitely going to heat the whole scene up. He was definitely one of talented young artists that I had the pleasure to work with. I’m quite sure he’s been using his time wisely and has some heat.”
During his incarceration, Shyne released an album, Godfather Buried Alive. He’s currently working on his third album, titled Godfather Exhumed.
Victoria Beckham’s A-list birthday meal
Victoria Beckham celebrated her 35th birthday with a low-key meal and a trio of Hollywood stars yesterday.
The Spice Girl was joined by Katie Holmes, Eva Longoria and Jennifer Lopez for some fine dining at LA eaterie Cecconi’s.
Unfortunately for Posh, husband David Beckham is currently in Milan due to work commitments, however the footballer surprised the fashionista with a romantic dinner in the Spanish capital last weekend.
The singers official birthday is tomorrow which she will spend with her sons.
Victoria looks so full of joy in the photo (above). I bet they had a right ol’ knees up, those crazy ladies.
