Beyonce Knowles throws 40th birthday bash for Jay-Z
P.Diddy is in danger of losing his legendary party-throwing status where Beyoncé Knowles is concerned.
The 28-year-old diva spared no expense in helping husband Jay-Z celebrate his 40th birthday in style, flying 50 of the rappers closest friends from New York to the Casa de Campo resort in the Dominican Republic over the weekend.
The star-studded affair, which included Kanye West, Oprah Winfrey and Ne-Yo amongst the guests, saw the birthday boy and Alicia Keys sing an impromptu version of their hit song Empire State of Mind.
Themed around the Al Pacino gangster movie Scarface, the night was kicked off with a lavish dinner of caviar and champagne, followed by a midnight firework display with synchronised swimmers dancing alongside in the villa’s pool.
Of course, The Squealer was invited…But…err…we had to wash our hair…
Rapper Shyne released from prison
Rapper Shyne is a free man as of today, after serving more than eight years behind bars.
Shyne, whose real name is Jamal Barrow was charged in March 2001, with attempted murder, assault and reckless endangerment for his role in a night club shooting involving Sean ‘P.Diddy’ Combs and Jennifer Lopez.
The 1999 incident saw Diddy testifying against his protégé souring relations between the two, but in a recent interview with New York radio station Hot 97, the 39-year-old mogul claims the pair are back on speaking terms, he said: “I spoke to him like a couple of weeks ago and he sounded like he was in good spirits. I know he can’t wait to get home. I know he is definitely going to heat the whole scene up. He was definitely one of talented young artists that I had the pleasure to work with. I’m quite sure he’s been using his time wisely and has some heat.”
During his incarceration, Shyne released an album, Godfather Buried Alive. He’s currently working on his third album, titled Godfather Exhumed.

Ever wondered what a President Spears’ administration would be like? According to the pop star, it would be a tasty one.
A bikini-clad, Britney Spears appeared on ‘The Late Show With David Letterman’ to deliver a Top 10 list of ways America would be different if she were president. Amongst her pledges was the promise of free pie and a more coherent fiscal strategy for the country.

That Cassie has got some front.
Following from her head-shaving incident last month, intimate photos of the RnB star are currently circulating around cyberspace.
The 22-year-old took to her Twitter account claiming she has been a victim of a hacker, who stole the topless images from her laptop.
“It seems that someone has hacked into my computer…that’s real foul and evil…Now stop acting like you haven’t seen a titty before.”
Yeah guys, stop being so prudish, gawd.
I’m sure these photos were ‘leaked’ but i’m going to plug her album anyways, because she’s trying so darn hard.
