Matthew Horne rushed to hospital

Matthew Horne collapsed on stage during a performance of Entertaining Mr Sloane last night.

The Gavin and Stacey star fell to the floor during the middle of a scene and lay for 10 minutes before paramedics arrived.

Theatre-goers assumed that the comedians black out was part of the show until co-star Simon Paisley Day called out for any doctors in the house to help.

The audience were later asked to leave and co-star Imelda Staunton apologised for the cancellation.

Horne’s condition has been put down to exhaustion and he has since been released from hospital.
